YogaGeek ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — used to identify your account and send password reset emails
• Display name — the name you provide during sign-up or through your Google or Apple account
• User ID — a unique identifier assigned by Firebase Authentication

We support sign-in via:

• Email and password
• Google Sign-In (governed by Google's Privacy Policy)
• Sign in with Apple (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy)

Yoga Practice Data
We store the content you create in the app:

• Yoga sequences, sections, and pose entries you build or save
• Custom pose names, breath cues, and notes you add
• Practice settings and preferences

This data is stored in your account in Google Firebase Firestore and linked to your user ID.

Usage Data
We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or behavioral tracking data beyond what Firebase provides as part of its infrastructure.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Sync your yoga sequences and practice data across sessions
• Send password reset emails when requested
• Verify your identity and protect against unauthorized access via Firebase App Check

We do not sell your personal information, use your data for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure in secure data centers. Firebase uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorized access to our backend services.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and associated yoga data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days.

• Correction — update your display name or email address in the app
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — request your yoga sequence data in a readable format

7. Children's Privacy

YogaGeek is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
